DRIES VAN NOTEN dress

This is a glossy navy dress made of rayon.
The size is 36.
Although the category is "dress," it's designed to be closed at the front with buttons at the shoulders and a ribbon at the waist, so an inner layer is required for both the top and bottom. It can also be worn as a light jacket when the buttons and ribbon are undone.
The design features lace-like sleeves, vertical ribbons sewn throughout, and pockets on both sides.
The length is around the knee on a person who is 160 cm tall.

I splurged and bought this about 20 years ago at a select shop in Daikanyama.
I wanted to wear it even as I got older, so I wore it for about two years, had it dry cleaned, and stored it carefully.
The tag is deteriorated, with stains and small holes, but they are in a position that is not visible when worn, so I personally don't mind them.
Also, there are slight hanger marks on the shoulders.
